Cars For Sale By Owner Can Be Risky Business Pt 2

Unfortunately, Pt one of this is just the beginning point. As you are in the market place looking for cars that are for sale by owner, it really pays you to really use your discernment and judgment from the beginning of the process to the end. There are too many tales of woe about people who have bought cars that were for sale by owner and ended up with pieces of absolute junk-why? Did you know a little paint can cover up big time rust? A car may look good but down deep it is crud. So make sure, like I said before, if you are looking to buy that car that you have a qualified mechanic inspect everything about that particular car.

And then finally always use the common sense that God has given you and make a good effort to come to know the seller and see if he seems honest enough. Ask them question and if they try to avoid your questions about the car say thanks and good-by. This also goes for salvage title cars that are for sale by owners. If you don't know what a salvage car is it is an auto that has been in a wreck possibly totaled out and then is rebuilt. You must be very careful and never buy a for sale by owner car in this condition. You will be courting disaster in this case.

Remember it is always best if you purchase a car for sale by owner that you know him, know of the person and are quite confident of the owner's reputation.
